![]() Very quiet in the early game but can pull off surprise threats. There are a lot of cards to give you both mana and card advantage.Ugin and Ulamog in the same deck is pretty scary.Robber of the Rich is the only sort of card advantage that you have access to and it only applies in the early game. You need to rely on good top decks especially if the game extends to the mid- to late-game.Missing one turn due to either lack of mana or lack of material to play can quickly derail your chances of winning.Make sure you have played on each of your first few turns. This is still a good go-to deck if you want to climb in the rankings. With a very low average mana cost, you can play multiple spells almost immediately. Both cards can fuel your graveyard, preparing them for when you already have GPG on the board.Minister of Inquiries and Chart a Course are essential in the early game.Putting GPG on your graveyard will help cast it earlier with Refurbish and Gate to the Afterlife.Putting creatures in your graveyard will fuel GPG, allowing more choices of creatures to bring back.Don’t hesitate to bin your creatures or even your GPG.Haste creatures and ETB effects are very powerful in this deck.Counters mill decks since milling will just fuel the GPG engine.Just like a typical control deck, the first few turns will involve hand disruption, card draw, and creature removal.Use your Fabled Passage, later on, to make sure you get the right land to cast your spells.Since you will be dealing with hard to cast cards, you need to hit your land drops. You have a Bolas for every scenario imaginable. This is important to keep them on board, as well as present a threat with the Heart of Kiran activation. With Chandra, Acolyte of Flame’s ability, you can easily regain loyalty counters lost from your planeswalkers. This can help you dish out huge amounts of damage with multiple activations of each Chandra.Getting the right amount of mana allows you to ramp towards other Chandra’s.The main key to winning with this deck is to get your Chandra’s on curve. With Chandra’s Regulator, you can double the effects of each Chandra planeswalker. You can ramp into other Chandra’s to create more devastating damage. Some meta decks are present in this list but I only included those with fun and unique interactions. However, I created this list to present players with decks that are both fun and still highly competitive. Because of the meta, some players face restrictions on what decks to play since non-meta decks may perform poorly on ranked matchmaking. This presents the need to evaluate the meta of whatever format you are playing on. The deck is very good for those who already like aggro and want to try slightly slower and more interactive strategies.MTGA is a highly competitive game that relies heavily on strategy, some luck, and great game sense. As a trade-off, it's a lot faster and board wipe-resistant than other aggro decks. Pioneer's Gruul deck is light on interaction for a midrange deck. The vehicles in the deck then have plenty of attack triggers, like Skysovereign, Consul Flagship's burn effect. Reckless Stormseeker is the most synergistic of these as it gives a creature +1/+0 and haste at the start of combat, letting vehicles attack immediately. Gruul Midrange plays several mana dorks, like Elvish Mystic, and uses the mana from them to play three drop beaters and high-impact vehicles ahead of curve. Gruul midrange can be built for around 250 dollars. Gruul Midrange also plays light interactive elements to disrupt the opponent's plans, especially in the Sideboard. The deck is built around getting out big creatures to crew vehicles easily that in turn power the synergies of the deck and overwhelm most opponents before they can get their game plan off the ground. While Rakdos Midrange is the more famous Pioneer midrange deck, Gruul Midrange is no slouch.
